How it works: 

Evaporative systems use water to reduce the air temperature. Water is pumped around the system and will evaporate as part of the cooling design. This loss of water will be higher on hotter and dryer days and will need to be replenished more frequently. Due to this design, Evaporative Air Coolers maybe less effective in high humidity.    

Note: This product is an Evaporative Air Cooler and not an Portable Air Conditioner. Evaporative Air Coolers maybe less effective in high humidity.   They are not able to reduce the temperature as rapidly as an Air Conditioner system. However, evaporative coolers do not rely on toxic refrigerant gases like in Air Conditioning systems and also require less power consumption.
